No More Needles: A More Comfortable and Safer Experience
New Device for Cosmetic Enhancements Changing Industry
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, June 12 – Production is now underway for the recently patented InjectMate, invented by Dr. Gayle Misle. The device enables easier use of cannulas for cosmetic enhancements wherein fillers are being administered, such as lip injections, softening of facial lines, and wrinkle removal. InjectMate streamlines the process to a one-step procedure, reducing pain, and making injections safer, easier, and with less risk of bruising or swelling.
“InjectMate revolutionizes the cannula injection technique, making it more likely that injectors will adopt a safer technique to provide more comfort and less risk of complications for the patient.” – Dr. Gayle Misle
According to a recent article by CNN, “In the United States, the use of fillers soared from 1.8 million procedures in 2010 to 2.6 million in 2016, according to data from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.” Cannulas (as opposed to needles) are the safest and preferred method of injecting dermal fillers, but since the learning curve to administer them properly is steep, they are commonly not used. InjectMate removes that learning curve for expert injectors, whom can now easily insert the cannula with InjectMate’s proprietary one-step technique and adopt the usage of cannulas in their practice with ease.

Since the demand for cosmetic procedures requiring such dermal fillers as Juvederm, Restylane, or Volbella are on the rapid incline, the demand for safer injections has been a consistent challenge that InjectMate reduces tactfully. Simply place the introducer needle (InjectMate) in position and guide the cannula until safely beneath the skin. A full video demonstration of the product can be seen here.
